Riverside-South Riverdale

Riverside is a beautiful neighbourhood in the East End of Toronto that is bordered by the Don River Valley to the West, Danforth Ave. to the north and the CN tracks to the south. This thriving residential neighbourhood has a strong arts community with many independent galleries along Queen St. and large film studios closer to the waterfront. The neighbourhood boasts large Victorian and Edwardian homes built between 1880 and 1920. The area lost much of its luster in the 1970's be has seen a strong recent resurgence that attracts many young professionals and families.
