What to look for in an real estate sales representative

  1. Someone who is dedicated to their profession
  2. Someone who takes the time to determine your needs
  3. Someone who listens – and responds to your requests
  4. Is familiar with the area in which you have an interest
  5. Is knowledgeable about the properties in your price range
  6. Is willing to work with you until your needs are fulfilled
  7. Strong references from previous buyers/sellers
  8. Questions to ask a prospective Realtor
  9. Are you a full time sales representative?
  10. Are you familiar with this area?
  11. How many homes did you sell last year? How many were in this area?
  12. What was the average price?
  13. How many buyers are you currently working with? How many sellers?
  14. Where do you feel your strengths lie?
  15. Will you handle all aspects of my transaction or do you have assistants?
  16. Can you give me the names of three buyers/sellers with whom I can check your references?
  17. Do you have full access to the Multiple Listing Service and do you have email to keep me abreast of new listings instantly?
